Co-Organized by the Ontario Ministry of International Trade & Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), this webinar will help participants take advantage of the opportunities in Japan’s healthcare market, focusing on medical devices and healthcare IT sectors.

Japan is the world’s 3rd largest medical market with imported medical devices accounting for 49% of this market. In Japan’s Super Aging Society, the number of people in Japan over 65 is about 25% of the population and will reach nearly 39 % by 2050. To combat the expected rise in healthcare costs, Japan has reduced approval times to get medical products into the Japanese market including a fast-track approval process for innovative medical devices which came into effect on July 31, 2017.
