Ryerson: SR&ED Tax Credit Program Information Session

The SR&ED Program is a federal tax incentive program that encourages Canadian businesses of all sizes, and in all sectors to conduct research and development (R&D) in Canada.  It is the largest single source of federal government support for industrial R&D paying in excess of $4 billion to more than 20,000 eligible claimants every year.

Through the program any company that is undertaking technological advancement and overcoming obstacles or uncertainties, whether in house or through a partnership with a Canadian University can receive cash refunds and/or tax credits for their eligible R&D expenditures.
