OBIO® secures funding from Government of Canada to expand Canada's manufacturing capabilities and bring innovations to market
The Government of Canada recently announced an investment of $16 million for six life sciences organizations to expand Canada's manufacturing capabilities and commercialize innovations.
OBIO® is very pleased to be among the recipients of this funding, receiving $5 million to expand Canada’s manufacturing capabilities, commercialize innovations, and support the growth of 100 Canadian biotechnology and health technology companies through the Health Commercialization Access Program.
We are very grateful to the Government of Canada and Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario for their steadfast support in accelerating made-in-Ontario innovations to the next level and promoting a thriving life sciences ecosystem.
We also extend our congratulations to our fellow awardees: McRae Imaging, Nanz Pharma, Synaptive Medical, Traferox Technologies Inc. and TIAP - Toronto Innovation Acceleration Partners, on this remarkable accomplishment! We are excited to see this investment propel our life sciences sector forward.
