Mississauga-based MyndTec has announced a partnership with Maness Veteran Medical to distribute its MyndMove™ Device to the US Department of Defense and The Department of Veterans Affairs for use by veterans and active duty military.
MyndMove is a non-invasive functional electrical stimulation-based intervention designed to stimulate the development of new neural pathways allowing patients to re-establish voluntary movement. The therapy uses proprietary stimulation technology to assist those with paralysis following a stroke or spinal cord injury to regain control of their arms and hands.
