This week, as part of the TCI Network 2018 Global Conference, OBIO CEO Gail Garland and Lisa Boreanaz of NRC-IRAP co-led a session with Canadian and international experts on our domestic health cluster.

Conference delegates discussed how to overcome the hurdles to building anchor companies and maximizing the commercialization of innovative research.

Designed as a “charette” – a meeting in which all stakeholders attempt to resolve conflict and map solutions – participants from different jurisdictions and industries brought their expertise and experience to the table to provide new insights on how our health cluster can help companies scale and grow.

The theme of TCI Network 2018 Global Conference was Collaborating to Compete: Clusters in Action.
