With several new technologies at our fingertips, like nanotech, AI and electromagnetic sensors, developers and end-users alike have many questions about the Health Canada certification processes going forward. To this end, the Centre for Bioengineering and Biotechnology has invited Health Canada regulators Colin Foster, Manager, Device Licensing Services Division and Patrick Assouad, Senior Scientific Evaluator, Digital Health, Device Evaluation Division to participate in a 1 day workshop on November 15, 2019. They will answer questions and detail the process to obtain Health Canada approval for medical devices with:

• Wireless functionality from low Hz to sub-THz, including mm-Wave

• A Robotic Humanoid and robotics applications

• AI functionality and features.
