On May 3, OBIO welcomed health science leaders, CEOs and the investment community to the tenth annual OBIO Leadership Event.

Hosted at SPiN, Toronto's ping pong social club, the Leadership Event also saw the launch of Use It or Lose It: Industry Solutions to Ontario's Commercialization Gap, OBIO's 2018 Industry Report.

Those in attendance got a chance to hear about the new report and its five recommendations for creating the conditions for the growth of Ontario’s health science industry, which included improved access to capital and globally competitive tax policies, consolidated funding programs, and most importantly stronger local infrastructure and access to local markets.
