OBIO’s HealthMINT® is a commercialization and investment readiness program tailored to meet the needs of Ontario’s health science companies developing therapeutics, medical devices, diagnostics, digital health and consumer health products. Through Mentorship, Investors, Networking, and Targeted advice, HealthMINT® increases the preparedness of Ontario’s health science companies for accessing non-dilutive grants, dilutive investments and strategic partnership opportunities.

COMPANY ELIGIBILITY

  1. A private company based in Canada and an active OBIO® member

  2. Focused on developing human health science products

  3. Have early IP and proof of concept to start their company’s initial commercialization process and provisional patent filing

  4. Motivated to pressure-test their commercial assumptions and go-to-market strategy, and open to constructive feedback from venture experts and investors

SUPPORT FOR COMPANIES

HealthMINT® companies receive business advisory, founder coaching, access to workshops and networking support. One-on-one targeted advice will be based on your company’s stage of readiness and understanding of the business expectations when raising capital from angel investors versus venture capital firms. As an OBIO® member, you will have access to competitor and investor databases and a library of life sciences specific workshops taught by biotech, medtech and digital health experts.
