On November 27th, OBIO held its 9th Annual Public Meeting at offices of Norton Rose Fulbright. It was an exciting event with a formidable keynote speaker, a packed room of industry leaders, and an excellent venue for networking! The APM also served as the official launch of our latest report: Bridging the Talent Gap. OBIO would also like to thank our speakers MPP Cristina Martins, MPP Bill Walker, and MPP Catherine Fife, as well as our excellent Keynote Dr. Edward Abrahams. Dr. Abrahams delivered a fascinating and relevant talk that addressed the latest developments (legislative and otherwise) in translating the concept of personalized medicine into improved clinical care.

A special note of gratitude to Dr. David Young, who is retiring from the OBIO Board after 9 years to lead a biotechnology company full time, based in Quebec.
