Ontario Bioscience Industry Organization works to strengthen and encourage the growth of a sustainable life sciences sector in Ontario. OBIO advocates on behalf of the life sciences industry, identifies needs and develops proposals for policies and programs to address those needs. OBIO plays an important role in promoting Ontario’s position as a center for the life sciences and serves the industry by engaging stakeholders in the areas of job creation, access to capital and an improved operating climate. OBIO strategically partners with other organizations committed to the same objectives.

OBIO will provide a common voice and ‘one stop shop’ for public policy for the industry to advance research and commercialization by working with the Ontario Government, bioscience companies and stakeholders on shared issues impacting industry sustainability and growth; specifically financing and commercialization.
